According to Gateworld, the first Stargate SG-1 movie is due to start filming in April next year... hopefully these keep rolling along, as there will be no season 11 next year

I lost interest in Stargate quite some time ago, right around the point where they seemed to have run so low on money, they started putting up cheesy episodes where the whole thing was set on earth, with no special effects, or new plot.

On topic though, the plot of the second movie, where they have to go back in time, seems rather poorly concieved. After all, the same plot has even already featured in one of the SG1 episodes I've seen (well, 'Quickly! Back in time to warn the people of impending doom! D:<"), and the general premise has been done a bajillion times.

If the plot of the first movie turns out decent, I may go watch it. Thanks for the info, anyway.
