I was perusing the doctor who website and found some pictures of the new christmas special. It has a half human/half spider monster woman in it. How much cooler can it get?

I've provided a link for your viewing pleasure.

We have had a look. Any news on when it will be screened in Australia? If anyone knows, it will be you.

No idea as yet, but when it starts to air in the UK then i'll have a better idea. I'll probably start emailing the ABC in March or April and i'll let you know.

Chances are that they'll screen it all sometime in either June or July like they did with the last two seasons

It has recently come to my attention that Series 3 of Dr Who will air in the UK 31st March. So this probably means that us fans here in Australia can probably look forward to it airing around July or thereabouts (if we’re REALLY lucky).

Gossip it that the new season starts on ABC on 23rd June.
Someone check out the Guide in today's Sydney Morning Herald and confirm please.

I've had a look at the ABC website, and it's not listed as airing on 23rd June. All the ABC is saying is coming soon.

TV listing for June 23:

Today's SMH The Guide page 2 says:
Quote:
The ABC will rest its new variety show
The Sideshow for seven weeks from June 23. It will be replaced by the third series of Dr Who, which kicks off with a special episode, The Runaway Bride guest starring British comedian Catherine Tate...

Perhaps Dr Who will start the week later on Saturday 30th June?

Seven weeks? Surely it goes longer than that? The last two series have gone for 13 weeks.

Don't worry, season 3 is definately longer than 7 weeks. The BBC has aired 9 episodes already, plus the Xmas special.

I know that this is a spoiler and that some people may not forgive me for ruining this for them, but i received an email from a relative that's living in the UK and he confirmed that The Master returned at the end of episode 11, and that the story arc is probably going to carry through till the end of episode 13. I don't know about anyone else, but i'm excited about this. The Master, actually back. Can't wait to watch the actual ep. More info as it comes.
