Wizards of the Coast are offering us the opportunity to particpate in the "Delve Night" program. A little bit of information below...

Delve Night
In October 2008, we launched a new casual-play D&D adventure format called D&D Delve Night. Offered through the Wizards Play Network (or WPN) to all Gateway-level organizers in the US, the Delve Night is a monthly adventure containing four short, one-hour encounters. Organizers can run their Delve Night either as a weekly one-hour session or a longer session with more than one encounter.

We anticipate that a session with all 4 encounters run together would make this similar to games day.

We are looking at potentially running Delve Night (Day) on Saturdays, with a potential of 4x 1 hour, 2 x 2hour, or 1 x 4 hour session each month (to be determined by player feedback). If you are interested in this, please reply here, or contact the shop!

Any scheduled events will hopefully get listed here, for ease of finding them.

July Delve Day adventures will run on Saturday, July 11th and Saturday, July 25th.

We want to get all players here by 10am, ready to get going. There is only enough tables / chairs / kits for 2 tables (1 DM + 5 or 6 players each), so please let us know if you are intending on coming along.

There has been a slight change to the Delv Day format due to WTC head office changing their minds on things. But we have been sent 6 months worth of Delve stuff.

The Delve for July will require players to BYO 11th level characters to use. If you came to the PHBII Game day in March, feel free to bring the character you played with then, or you can construct one (or more) using the guidelines here

I will try to get copies of the charcters from games day available for those who don't feel they are up to building one yet.

The kits have encounters and small scale maps for the person running, but do not include minis or game scaled maps.

Delve Day on Saturday 25-07-09 went well. We thought someone would have to fail a saving throw and be voted DM, until Sean arrived - thanks for being the DM.
The game started about 10:30am and finished about 2pm. All seemed to enjoy themselves. This will become a regular event, for whoever wants to play.
