Hi all
So, what's the verdict on True Blood the TV Series. I've only seen the first series and read the first book, but from my understanding the second and third series divert greatly from the original books.
I will say this, as a positive for this book, my partner who does not read this genre at all (or read books much at all) watched this series and has listened to all the audio books... so I give the series bonus points for that. He said that the TV Series and books go in totally different directions.
Let me know what you think.

Aren't the books chic lit for girls, but the TV series is full of good lookers easy on the eyes. No wonder your bloke can watch it but not read it.

From what I can see so far, each season seems to be inspired by what happens in the corresponding book. But of course things change, as what works in writing does not always translate to the screen well. The show is very much the eye-candy factor! <drools>
